The days of an uncoordinated
event industry in Nigeria are apparently coming to an end with the launch of
the Nigerian Event Industry Fair in Lagos at the Bevent Center on Monday the 2nd
October 2017.
According to the initiator
and Chief Coordinator of the event and CEO Bevents Logistics Synergy Nig.
Limited, Mrs. Bola Awosika Adelaja, the idea and motivation behind this imitative
is to create a coordinated and unified events vendors platform where all events
vendors, no matter where they are in Nigeria will have the opportunity for
event marketing and promotion, showcase their expertise, access information and
education as well as training.
According to this eloquent
and pretty woman, events organization like every other profession needs a
coordinated platform to bring out the best from its practitioners as well as
creating a synergy that will not only streamline the sector but bring about a
solid structure and platform where practitioners can meet and, compare notes
and strengthen themselves. Speaking further, Mrs. Awosika disclosed that the
launch of the Nigerian Industry Fair in Lagos was just a first step of taking
the fair nationwide with the Abuja Federal Capital Territory version of the
fair coming up soon.
