… Distributes Food, Basic Medical Aid and Counseling

On the29th of May
2017 was the World Hunger day in which a non profit organization that
distributes food, basic medical aid and counseling to the poor, homeless and
hungry people of Nigeria. AJEGUNLE and IJORA communities, two of the most
poverty inhabited environments in Nigeria were visited yesterday by this
organization; they went bearing food amongst other things for the people of
these areas, especially the children.
The HUNGER PROJECT is a non
profit organization that distributes food, basic medical aid and counseling to
the poor, homeless and hungry people of NIGERIA and their motto is
“EachoneFeedsone”. The organization’s short term goal is to provide meal and
supplies for those who are unable to do so for themselves due to poverty,
health issues and conflicts once or twice a year.
The organization’s long term
goal is to establish a permanent soup kitchen in these communities to provide
daily meals and basic medical aids such homeless persons, whilst continuing to
provide street food delivery to those who are unable to come to the center. They
will also empower and train them so that they can get jobs and feed
themselves.
