Speaking with High Celebrity Squad, Engineer Chief
Tola Gbuyiro said his watch word is honesty, integrity and hard work. I am a
Christian who believes that everything a man attains in life is through the
grace of God Almighty, I am a keen family man who believes that whatever
success one achieve in life is tied to his family life. This is because if you
have a good family life, it will reflect on your business. You will be focused
because you have the state of mind. I believe in being myself. If a man
deceives others, it might not be too bad but when you deceive yourself, then
you have lost it. If you are honest with yourself, you will be honest with people.
He stated.
Look around here; it is not cheap to gather people
together to celebrate with you. I can not deceive myself to please people. I
know that I have to appreciate God for His Grace at achieving this Golden age
and to get to where I am today. It is all by his doing because no man can do or
be anything by himself. My joy is that what I have today, I can honestly say
there is nothing that belongs to another person that I have taken. It is
possible to be successful without stealing from others.
When I left where I was as a paid employee, I left
as an executive but I had only fifty thousand. This was not because I did not
make money but I had invested in my building. I did not have a huge amount of
money saved before I started my business. It took hard work, focus, honesty and
above all the grace of God. I impress these virtues on the my employees and
that is the straight of my business. I don’t move with people who have nothing
to add to me, I have a very tight circle of friends and they are all serious
minded people, MDs and CEOs. These are the people you see here today.
As an electrical Engineer specializing in in Medium
& High Voltage Electrical Engineering jobs.
On his family life he said: My wife is a blessing
sent by God. Like I told you the success of a man starts from the home front.
She has been there beside me as a tower of support. She works in my company as
the Director, Business Development. When we get to the office she does her job
not just as a wife but a colleague and I am the boss. When we are at home I am
the husband and head of the house. There is complete synegy between us and our
children are learning the vitue of a loving and close knit family ties from our
example. In fact, my children even tell me they pray to find the love I share
with their mother in their own home.
On his advice to upcoming a generations and aspiring
business owners; the answer is patience, hard work, honesty and diligence. I
said patience because as Nigerians, we lack patience. There are opportunities
always flowing around. If you don’t have patience, you can not see what you
need even if it is passing you by. You have to be honest, always be yourself
and daeal with people with fairness. If you are focus, hard working and honest,
I will say the sky is just your beginning.
