…Leader Calls on Federal Government to Start Investigating Council Chairmen for Corruption

Hon. Saheed Mosadoluwa, the founder and convener of Ibile Peaceful Assembly has called on the federal government to start investigating the activities of the local government chairmen.
This clarion call was made penultimate Sunday, 26th of February, 2017 at the prestigious Atiba hall in Oyo during the inauguration of Ibile peaceful assembly.
The inauguration that saw two group, Omoluabi group and Ibile peaceful assembly coming together for the purpose of maintaining and affirm political philosophy that will negate common man creativity.
According to the non-governmental group leader, Hon. Saheed while addressing the members, he said “It is high time we start demanding for our right and this is the time to ask question because road, water and other basic amenities are not available for the common man. My ideology is to see who and who becomes the council chairman and the chancellor because they are the government closer to the people.”
He also said “Don’t let the state government deceive you by saying that they withheld the election because they wanted to create more local government council. I believed coming together under one voice will make a huge different within our communities.”
“We must find a way to put the political structure on check, because if we failed to do so, we’re going to remain a slave to our representatives” the honorable divulged.
Buttressing his point, he said “We are not going to share money because we are not a political group but a group that is meant to empower the common man for the betterment of our society. We have close to 96 chapters now within this south-west Nigeria. We also have one in Benin but we can’t count them as part of us until their official inauguration.”

When asked to rate the performance of the present administration, he said “there is something we need to get clear in Nigeria. Federal government on their own, they are trying their best but what of the allocation to the council? All what the council chairmen do is to sit-down with national host, community leader, the council of Imam and immediately they paid school salary, they forget about the amenities and nobody care to ask question, not until somebody like Ibile started asking question. The last allocation, what did you do with it? Come and account for it. If the government of the day wants to look at what really undermine the welfare of people, they have to start investigating council chairmen. They need to start making the constituency allowance a public thing. Let them give what belong to the people to the people. The politician we are talking about we not give power back to the people because whatever they touches with their feet or hand, they will surely mixed it up.”
However, the leader also uses the inauguration to empower eight women from eight different local government in Oyo as he promised to sponsor their international trip.
